Angela Hartman's Piano Studio. Providing Piano Lessons in Louisville, KY Since 1999.

Thanks Kids!

Thanks so much to my students for helping with the Help For Haiti Project! I appreciate you!

Help For Haiti

I'm sure most of you have been impacted by the horrible events in Haiti and would like to do something tangible to help.  My church, Midlane Park Baptist will be sending medical supplies to Haiti at the end of the month to missionary doctors who are serving in the area. As you can imagine, they are in desperate need.
I thought I would extend the invitation to participate in this ministry to my wonderful and caring studio. Included below is a list of the items needed.  I will be taking donations through Feb. 19th.
Thanks so much!
Blessings,
Angela

Fun Stuff!!!

For my students who are Partners in Education members through Gist Piano Center, this sounds like a blast! Please let me know if you would like to participate.

March 26: Hollywood Nights
“Come on and try your luck, you could be Donald Duck! Hooray for Hollywood!”  That’s right, Gist Piano Center will be rolling out the red carpet for it’s first ever Hollywood Nights recital.  Hollywood Nights is a movie themed recital that is the second in a series of theme recitals designed by Gist to encourage greater participation in the Arts.  If you thought Halloweekend was “spooktaculer,” then you are going to love Hollywood Nights!  Students will be playing their favorite “movie themed piece” and are highly encouraged to dress as their favorite actor/actress or as if they were attending a Hollywood Movie Premier!  All PIE teachers and students should make plans for an evening of live music, fresh popcorn, candy, soda and fun movie games.

Parents and Students:

The fee is $15 per student/event and the deadline to register is January 20th.  Quality practice time is very important since this is a graded event.
